In 2015, after a nearly 20 year hiatus, I returned to the easel and painting. Inspired by Van Gogh’s starry night series and Roy Lichtenstein pop art, I had my first solo exhibition, “Starry Nights Over False Bay”,  December 2016 which featured paintings depicting famous artworks mixed with his own cartoon characters.  Since then, I have exhibited in various group and solo exhibitions in Cape Town and Gauteng.  I like to include bright colours and humour into my paintings. My influences are comics and pop art. I believe art should be in the eye of the beholder and it should be accessible to everyone to both explore their art style and to collect. Please browse through and enjoy.
